    The goal Introducing students to fundamental philosophical problems, questions, movements, and disciplines, as well as to the basic philosophical terminology.
    The outcome Acquiring the basic general knowledge in philosophy which enables students independent reading of philosophical texts.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Definition of philosophy; Origin and source of philosophizing. The relation between mythos and logos. The meaning and the boundaries of the validity of philosophical disciplines. Relation of philosophy to other sciences.
