The goal | Students should gain competences in theoretical, analytic and critical thinking, creative devising and delivery of optimal order of structural-functional segments within an utterance, in order to recognize and reconstruct informational and communicative perspectives in various forms of discourse. | |||
The outcome | Students will have theoretical knowledge and necessary competences to independently analyze communicative perspectives in different forms of discourse; they will be able to mindfully apply the acquired knowledge and experiences in practice. | |||

Contents of lectures | Communicative perspective and history of its research. Language functions. Language typology. Communicative model of utterance in Hungarian and the traditional structure of utterance. Word order in the Serbian language. Positional hierarchy of utterance constituents. The role of intonation. Pragmatic factors. Speech acts. Discourse markers. Communicative perspective and applied linguistics. | |||
