The goal | Introducing students to the topic and problem content of formal, elementary logic with the aim of knowledge of the rules in the implementation of logical thinking. | |||

Contents of lectures | Introduction. Being and thinking. I think. Laws of logic. Elements of thinking: concept (process of concept, theory of concept, types of concepts, relations between concepts), proposition (structure of proposition, theories of proposition, types of propositions, relations between propositions) and inference (types of inference: immediate and mediate inference, syllogism, enthymeme, sorites, polysyllogism, inference fallacies). Methods of thinking. | |||
