Contents of lectures | Training participants for the application of acquired knowledge in the teaching process or condensation and nominalization as syntactic procedures; Nominal, verbal style; Syntaxic synonymy; Deverbative, deadjectival and other nouns and other expressions as sentence content condensers; Nominalization and decomposition; Decomposition and universityization; Models of nominalized structures and paradigms; Syntax positions and functions of nominalized constructions; Transitivity, intransitivity and semantic interpretation of nominalized structures; Complementation and nominalization; Nominalization and negation; Nominalization of coordinated structures; Qualitative meanings of nominalized constructions; Double nominalization; Nominalization processes in the language of mass media. | |||
Contents of exercises | Checking the theoretical knowledge. Reference to relevant literature. Working on different types of text with examples. Excerpt, presentation and systematization of examples illustrating the processes of nominalization in the Serbian language. Discussion about the given topics. | |||
