      The goal Study of Attila József’s poetry writing and reception, and the literary and historical importance of his work.
      The outcome The students are introduced to the poetry writing, reception and literary and historical importance of Attila József ‘s poetry. Textual proficiency, developed proficiency in interpretation and analysis of texts.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures A brief overview of Attila József’s biography and literature. Classical modernism and historical avant – garde tradition in his poetry. Populist – national trends. A period of grotesque and surrealism (pure poetry). Subjective and objective lyric poetry’s variations. Love poetry. Poems in the spirit of synthesis. Late lyric poetry. New interpretation and reception trends and the subsequent trends of the poetry’s lyric tradition until the present time.
