      The goal The aim of course is to enable the acquisition of knowledge on basic theoretical problems, literature, film and adaptation-processes in the domain of the film.
      The outcome Getting new knowledge in the sphere of literary theory and culture of film. The course is very successful in developing different sensitivities concerning literature, film and comparison.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures The theoretical aspects of the relationship between literature and film. Formal theories of literature and film. Lotman. Boris Eichenbaum: Literature and film. Gerard Genette: Metalepsis. Psychoanalysis in literature and theory of Interpretation. Theoretical interpretation of literature and adaptation-processes in film. Film-related sensitivity of literary genres: visual poetics and film-based techniques of writing.
      Contents of exercises Laszló Ranodi, Gábor Bodi, Károly Makk and Hungarian literature. Adaptations of the work of D. Kosztolanyi, M. Meszöly, and P. Esterhazy. The poetry of the novel Laszló Krasznahorkai, the contribution of Béla Tarr. etc. Reading the theoretical texts and critical views. Presentation, analysis and interpretation of adaptation.
