    The goal The objective of the course is to introduce students to the basic problems and achievements in the sociological study of family, which is a prerequisite not only for studying other sociological issues and problems, but also for the development of a specific sociological way of thinking.
    The outcome The outcome of the course is a good knowledge of the contributions and results of the sociology of the family as one of the oldest and most developed sociological disciplines, which ensures the acquisition of necessary professional qualifications, as well as the successful application of acquired knowledge in future professional work.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Theoretical teaching includes the most important topics from the sociology of family as a special sociological discipline - from the emergence and development of a modern family, through the basic problems of the structure and functions of the modern family, to the tendencies of its future changes - family is observed both through its universality and permanence as well as through its features and changes
    Contents of exercises Practical classes: Exercises, preparation and presentation of seminar papers, based on the choice of a student, and discussion of the relevant issues and problems raised in this sociological discipline.
