      The goal Emphasizing of the importance of stylistics for the production and reception of text in mass-media. Getting to know the system of stylistic figures and the widest historical -style categories. Knowledge of journalistic style. The ability to write/speak in the media.
      The outcome Development of capacity of stylistic interpretation of text and application of stylistic figures in writing. Autonomous judgment and understanding of stylistic problems.

      Contents of lectures The concept of style and stylistics. Views from the history of Hungarian stylistics. Functional styles. Theory of genres and stylistics: stylistic differences of literary and journalistic text. A system of stylistic figures
      Contents of exercises Identification of stylistic figures and stylistic analysis of literary and journalistic texts. Getting to know the stylistic formations as the foundation of periodisation within art and literature.
