Argentine Ambassador visits the Faculty of Philosophy

On 9 March 2022, the Faculty of Philosophy hosted the delegation from the Embassy of Argentina led by H.E. Osvaldo Marsico, the Ambassador. The delegation met with the dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Ivana Živančević-Sekeruš and representatives of the Spanish Language Lectorate and the Ibero-American Center. The Ambassador characterized his first visit to the Faculty of Philosophy as a nice opportunity to meet and discuss cooperation and organization of joint events. The plan is to organize various activities throughout the year in order to promote the Spanish language and Argentine culture, as well as a lecture by H.E. Osvaldo Marsico. The Ambassador also expressed his desire to assist the Faculty of Philosophy in establishing and maintaining cooperation with Argentine universities. Prof. Dr. Ivana Živančević-Sekeruš emphasized that multidisciplinarity is crucial for the 21^st century and that the upcoming cultural activities at the Faculty of Philosophy, such as Argentine tango, music, cuisine and film, will bring people closer to different scientific disciplines as well.
