    The goal The goal of the course is to enable students to use their passive knowledge (A levels) in active speech when visiting a doctor, describing past actions, shopping.
    The outcome Upon the completion of the course, students are able to give a short description of their health, understand orders and doctor's advice, ask short questions; give a short description (up to 5 minutes) of past actions/events, analyse speech/text of the co-speaker, ask questions regarding information they have heard. Shopping, making reservations. Application of IT tools in the course of learning.

    Contents of lectures -
    Contents of exercises Topics: Going to the doctor's, customs and ways of celebrating holidays, past events. Shopping and booking. Grammar: Relative verb bases of the imperative of subjective conjugation, adverbial pronouns for place, past tense (regular verbs and exceptions – subjective conjugation, indicative), definite conjugation of intransitive and transitive verbs (present tense – indicative), indirect speech.
