    The goal Acquaint students with the structural features of the simple sentence, and the formation of accurate sentences. Developing independent analytical skills, which will enable students for teaching sentence analysis.
    The outcome Students will be able to analyze and form simple sentences according to the objectives, differentiate between types of sentences, observe their role in a text.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Definition of the simple sentence. Definitions of sentences. Microstructure of the sentence. Minor sentence. The notion and meaning of syntagms. Stratification of the simple sentence. The notion, function, part of speech, structure and meaning of the subject, predicate and object. The three-way distinction of adverbs; adverb types. Grammatical and semantic adverbs. Semantic and asemantic adverbs. Types of adjectives. Apposition.
    Contents of exercises Sentence analysis, sentence creation, punctuation exercises.
