The goal | Study of various types of gender encoding in literatures of the Eropeand, SouthSlavonic and Serbian avantgarde, as well as their relation to other media: film, painting, photography, fashion. | |||
The outcome | Learnig outcome; theoretical, methodological and comparative approach to problems of gender encoding in expressionism and surrealism. Male and female fluid identity and their cultural, social and poetical foundation. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Fluid gender identity in the avantgarde literature. Types of masculinity and its crisis (Kafka, Kavafis, Crnjanski, Rastko Petrović, Krleža, Kamov). Maternality and phantasies about man's birth. Conflict with father as a symbol of hegemonic domination on different levels (various institutions, family order). Queer sexuality, madness, desire, body and language (Trakl, Nastasijević, Rastko Petrović). Figure of prostitute and incest. | |||
