The goal | The aim of the course is to inform students about the concepts and approaches in social development and planning, about characteristics of those processes in different societies, especially in (contemporary) Serbian society. Also, the aim is to train students to critically analyze strategic documents regarding social development and planning, as well as to evaluate different approaches in social planning, in relation to the goals, resources and outcomes. | |||
The outcome | Students should be able to: define basic concepts and understand their connection, develop critical attitude towards concepts of social development and planning, analyze social development and planning in different societies, evaluate approaches in social planning in relation to goals, resources and outcomes, develop critical attitude towards the current strategic and normative documents. | |||

Contents of lectures | The concept and indicators of social development, Theoretical concepts on social development, Factors of social development, The concept, types and dimensions of social planning, Participation in social planning, Methods for collecting, processing and systematization and interpretation of data in social planning, Characteristics of social development and planning in Serbian society. | |||
